During March the following courses will be held at our campus in Chatham, Kent UK, focusing on handling and storing different materials and looking at the reasons why problems occur and how to prevent or eliminate them
13 – 15 March Storage and Discharge of Powders and Bulk Materials
Course topics include:
Basics of hopper and silo design and function
Dealing with potential problems
Discharge aids and interfacing to feeders
£765 for 2 days/ £1185 includes practical session in the on-site laboratories, per delegate
28 March Biomass Handling, Feeding and Storage
Course topics include:
Material types, flow properties and handling equipment requirements;
Self-heating, fire, explosion and safety;
Dust and degradation, pneumatic conveying and wear.
£490 per delegate
