Wabash National Corporation (NYSE: WNC) recently announced it will begin marketing all Walker Barrier Systems products as Extract Technology. The Extract Technology portfolio will now include aseptic solutions, containment solutions, restricted access barriers and mobile clean rooms for the pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech and chemical markets.
Wabash National’s operations in Huddersfield, England, and New Lisbon, Wisconsin, will continue to manufacture all aseptic and containment systems.
Alan Wainwright, who has more than 30 years of experience with Extract Technology, has been named the global managing director, Extract Technology Limited. He will oversee manufacturing operations in Huddersfield and New Lisbon and will be responsible for leading product development to deliver category-leading products to our global customers.
”Walker Barrier Systems and Extract Technology customers should not see any impact to their operations with this brand migration,” explained Dave Nick, vice president and general manager, Process Systems. “Essentially, we’re leveraging some synergies between these two leading brands to create value for our global customer base. We’ll continue to offer the same innovative products and technologies that Extract Technology and Walker Barrier Systems are known for, still designed and built by the same teams.”
Extract Technology, founded in 1981, has grown into one of the leading containment and aseptic manufacturers in the world. It will continue its international market growth by adding mobile clean rooms to its portfolio, which Walker Barrier Systems began manufacturing in 2013.
