Dec’s new patent pending SafeDock system for simplified and fast docking operations when filling or discharging big bags guarantees a very high containment value of <1 μg/m3. The system provides high containment levels for FIBC emptying and filling and allows for fast and safe operations in a fully contained way thus protecting personnel from highly active and harmful substances.
Its use will contribute to overall plant optimization throughout the API handling process from reactor charging to milling and sieving suites, dispensing glove boxes and final packing stages.
The new SafeDock system provides improvement to pharmaceutical and chemical companies by saving time and meeting the rigorous requirements for occupational health and safe production standards.
How It Works
SafeDock consists of a single docking tube without any auxiliary utilities providing you great ease of cleaning. A side port featuring a CLS continuous liner is used to remove the inliner. A flexible single-use ring seals the big bag spout. This ring can then be easily removed with the remaining liner through the side port while maintaining complete containment and isolation. This high safety and foolproof system guarantees impeccable sealing at all times without external energy sources.
