The new IGF bag placer is fully automatic and suitable for handling free flowing bulk products (feed, seed, chemicals, grain, whole food, etc) into open mouth bags and it becomes the latest member of the Concetti high technology IGF bagging family with thousands of installations in about 60 countries.
This Concetti open mouth bagging machine reaches speeds up 600 bags per hour, from 15 to 100 lbs. It can handle many bag types – paper, porous and non porous polywoven, polyethylene – and different sizes. The format change takes place in a totally automatic way in only 90 seconds, working with flat or with gusseted open mouth bags. The Igf bag placer has a self diagnostic facility built into the control system.
Empty bags are taken from the magazine one at a time, with a very reliable system, positioned exactly and then filled. The bag exits the machine and is ready to be transferred manually to the bag closing unit, by one single operator. The line can also be upgrated to a fully automatic filling and closing system that does not require any operator, just a line supervisor.
