Master Engineering b.v., from Heteren, Holland, has recently delivered a screw weigh system to Sortiva Oost bv ( joint venture between Dusseldorp Inzameling en Recycling b.v. and Sortiva b.v.) at Lichtenvoorde, The Netherlands.
The system is needed to measure the incoming product flow of aluminium coffee capsules. It consists a set of special turning points, to be mounted in the middle of the inlet opening and a loadcell, to mounted close to the outlet opening. Furthermore, the speed of the screw will be measured. These two signals goes to the weigh processor, model WE302D. This processer is integrating the two signals into a flow in kg/hour. The device can generate three totals (kg). The transport of this installation is completely done by screws. Therefore, this screw weigh systems is for Sortiva Oost the ideal way of measuring the flow. One of the advantages is the closed system, which ensures a clean factory.
The delivery program of Master Engineering consists more: belt scales, dosing belts, impact flow meters, bin weigh systems, batch systems, weigh platforms, metal detection and large displays
