In 2007, Master Engineering has developed the model BS221DB and launched on the Dutch market. This model was from the beginning very successful! Since the acquiring of Master Engineering by Rice Lake Weighing Systems, the model is sold worldwide. This summer, the milestone of 1000 sold belt scales has been reached!
A belt scale consists of a weigh frame (to be built into the transport belt), a belt speed pick-up and a weigh indicator, which converts weight and speed into kg/hour or ton/hour.
The model BS221DB has a frame which consists of two separated weighing legs, each to be mounted on the outside of the transport belt, which makes it easy to mount. Because of this special construction, the frame is very well to approach for service and cleaning. The execution is fully in depended of the belt width. The belt scale can be used starting from 5 tons/hour op to large capacities.
