Low pressure drying

When dried matter is transported from the container to the silo, compressed air is used.

Often, this compressed air is insufficiently dried, resulting in the powder becoming sticky and lumpy and clogging the transport pipes. Also, this moist, warm environment creates an ideal condition for bacterial growth. A definite no-no when transporting solids for food processing. Cleaning the pipework costs time and money, but this time-consuming process can be easily prevented.

Installing a low pressure fridge dryer after the compressor dries the compressed air to a dewpoint of 3°C and ensures clean, dry air for the transport.
