Willemen Infra is Belgium’s largest road construction company.
Lybover BULK relocated the existing concrete plant in Bruges to the site in Ghent. The hopper capacity also had to be doubled. Six new hoppers were made for this purpose.
The old weighing belt was replaced by a new weighing belt. The old and new hoppers were placed in a basement so that a ramp was no longer needed.
As a result, the ramp to the plant had to be extended. The complete existing concrete plant was taken to Lybover BULK and subjected to a thorough overhaul.
We dismantled the mixer unit and new bearings and seals were provided. The motors and gearboxes were overhauled externally.
The metering unit was also addressed, the valves repaired and the metering funnels fitted with new wear plates. Once the units were ready, they were transported to Ghent.
We fitted the hoppers, weighing belt and elevator. There was a very short time span between the dismantling at the site in Bruges and the assembly in Ghent.
Willemen has been using Lybover BULK (formerly know as Motogroup) for maintenance and various constructions for years.
