Stalam is penetrating another market in food industry. With RF Technology (partially similar to MW technology) Stalam is able to bring energy – and therefor heat – into products in an efficient and controllable manner. This is now also being applied for drying, decontamination and/or pasteurising of low moisture food products like grains, seeds, nuts, meal (and mixtures of such). The technology is effeciently using electrical energy and because of the transition to renewable electrical energy and the up-scaling of equipment, such applications have become cost efficient, often with benefit on the quality point of view.
